No show
The volume of studies in CAMRI has increased; however, the rate of no shows and cancellations has increased at a more rapid pace. The result is open magnet time that no one can use. The time slot of the no show becomes an expense and the burden is placed on next year’s hourly rate for everyone to pay.
We have changed the no show policy to encourage researchers to maintain contact with their subjects to make sure they make their appointment. Each PI will be allowed a single no show waiver each month. Any additional no shows will be the responsibility of the PI. These time slots will be billed at ½ the rate of the slot.
